QUICK WEEKEND UPDATE – POWDER ROOM MAKEOVER

We’ve been looking for ways to show how anyone can quickly tackle a DIY project in their home. And this powder room makeover does exactly that! In order to ensure this project happened in a weekend we had all materials sourced and on site prior to starting the project. This is a major timesaver when it comes to a project on a time crunch. Not having to leave to grab materials allows you to continue to crunch down on the project without distractions from the outside world.

We also planned each step by the minute, which meant we didn’t waste any time. For instance, once the shiplap was all installed and brad nail holes were filled, we put all of the trim and door on saw horses and painted them. This allowed time for the hole filler to dry prior to sanding, while allowing time for paint. It is this type of planning where we find efficiencies with time, and it makes any project run smooth.
