Wow! We’re back again for another One Room Challenge. Probably one of my favorite times of the year. I love how this challenge forces us to focus on one room and accomplish all the things in that one space in under 6 weeks! I also love how this brings this rad community together and I get to become inspired all over the place while I watch magic happen in homes.
Before we go any further, let me first welcome you if you are finding us for the first time. Now let me give you just a little bit of background information about us and then we can jump into our project for the next 6 weeks. Our names are Danielle + Michael Gutelli. We are based in a small downtown area in Michigan, nestled between Detroit and Ann Arbor. We are a husband and wife design, remodeling and styling team, and content creators. We are excited to be a part of this challenge again this year. This isn’t our first time around. You can check out our very first One Room Challenge with our Master Bedroom. The second One Room Challenge we participated in we tackled our Master Bathroom. And last year we created a kid friendly space in our Boys Shared Bedroom.
This time around we are geeked to tackle a new space and one that is not in our own home! A huge thank you to Tiffani and Chris, our super rad clients, for letting us showcase their home. We are transforming a laundry room into a laundry room/mudroom area. To start any project we always start with inspiration from spaces that already have everything going on and the vibes we want to bring forward in the spaces we create.
To make this project more manageable for everyone involved we broke it up into three different spaces: Mudroom, Command Center and Laundry Room. We are also going to be adding in space for Tiffani and Chris’s two adorable dogs to hangout.
